realtalk

this is my S/O poem
S/O to the skinny boys.
S/O to the 4.0 or i cant get into BYU kids
S/O to the just give me a D so I can leave kids
S/O to english teacher who decided that teaching us creativity and TRUTH was more important than teaching us comas and periods. that listening to SLAM poetry was better than reading poems written by a bunch of old dead white guys. who instead of teaching us how to grow up, taught us how to be a child again.
S/O to the honor students
S/O to the Juvenile delinquents
S/O to the kids still scared of the dark
S/O to her
S/O to the girl who's biggest fear is her own mirror
S/O to the kids who walk 100 yds. to a different building to worship a god they stopped believing in 6 months ago
S/O to the stoners, to the loners, to the attendance school goers, and the what do you want to be when you grow up? I DONT F'ing KNOWers 
 S/O to the boy who eats his lunch in the bathroom bathroom stall. but dont worry he keeps his feet up so no one would have to know that he exists..
S/O to the boys with scars on their knees and the girls with scars on their wrists

S/O to the Jock, it took him 6 years and a broken forearm to realize he was playing a sport he didn't even like, but it was the only thing that made him feel like he was worth something
S/O to Paris, its been a good vacation.

    It meant a lot.

    I heard a lot of stuff that day. But this is one that's stuck with me. I think that's saying something.

  2. You probably never get on anymore let alone read the comments but seriously this was incredible, like really incredible. I got chills when you read it over three months ago and I got chills again reading it in Rios. It's nice to see a different side of you :)
